My last and final visit to Hunan was with my daughters - my wife was out of town and had already given up on Hunan after her bout with the buffet. also their shrimp is small, cocktail sauce is bland, egg rolls are greasy and their fried rice is crispy and hard (maybe from sitting in a warming pan to long.?). The sauces are bland with no zesty zip.when I see a sign that says "spicy" I expect a little burn.not something I can feed a baby. I have always found the food to be overcooked and lacking taste. On another visit an elderly Chinese man overseeing the dining room stared at me the entire time I ate.he looked at me as though I was going to try and eat all of the food on his buffet! Yes, I'm a fat boy who loves Chinese food, but believe me, he had nothing to worry about as one plateful of blah (at best) Chinese food from the buffet is all I want. She did not return for 10 minutes.I'll spare you the details but the food did not agree with her. the course of three years, I could not do it any longer.ĭuring one visit with my family my wife excused herself within minutes of eating something from the buffet. Each time I'd return hoping for an improvement over my last visit and it kept getting worse.after 10+ visits over. Hate to be negative, but I've eaten here on several occasions and the food is sub par.
